Betting tips – Dnipro vs Sevilla – Europa League
Kick off: 19:45
There are no doubts about the most exciting game of this week. Dnipro and Sevilla will fight for Europa League trophy this Wednesday from 19:45, UK Time, with the spaniards in pole-position at first view. The ukrainians are not in their best form, winning only one game of the last three, but that one was a very important victory, 3-2 against Shakhtar Donetsk, keeping their chances to qualify for Uefa Champions League through the ukrainian league. Dnipro should not be neglected by Sevilla, since they eliminated some important names in their way to this final. I mean they eliminated Olympiakos (4-2), Ajax after extra-time, Club Brugge (1-0) and Napoli in semifinals (2-1). Some results were really surprising, considering that Dnipro were the underdogs against Napoli, Ajax and even against Olympiakos at first view.
- Even if they are not in a very impressive form right now, the ukrainians’ strongest point is still the defence.
- Sometimes they struggled in the attack, but Konoplyanka is back in the team and he could make the difference anytime.
As I said, Kono is back in the starting line up, but Markevych will be without two important players like Zozulya and Kravchenko, both injured. Shakhov is not 100% fit and will be assessed closer to kick off.
Dnipro probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Boyko – Matos, Cheberyachko, Douglas, Fedetskiy – Fedorchuk, Kankava – Konoplyanka, Rotan, Luchkevych – Seleznyov.
In my opinion, and not only mine, Sevilla are the favorites in this final and the spaniards have a very good chance to win the second UEL in a row and the 4th in their history. If they will do it, then Sevilla will become the most successful club in UEL / Uefa Cup, more successful than Liverpool, Juventus and Inter Milano, all of them with three trophies. Banega & co failed to qualify in Champions League through Primera Division, finishing on the 5th place, only one point behind Valencia. Their only chance to play in UCL next campaign is to confirm their superiority in this final, but Dnipro will not be easy, for sure. With four wins and a draw in the last five competitive matches, Sevilla seem to be in a better form right now, especially from an offensive point of view.
- Sevilla managed to score seven goals in the last three matches.
- This is the first time in football history when Sevilla and Dnipro are face to face.
Like their opponents, the spaniards will have two missing players for this final. To be more precise, Nico Pareja and Beto are injured and they will not be even on the bench here.
Sevilla probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Rico – Coke, Carrico, Kolo, Tremoulinas – Krychowiak, Mbia – Vidal, Banega, Vitolo – Bacca.
