Kevin Durant alongside Russell Westbrook simply stunned the entire world last night and now the Toronto Raptors should know just precisely what to do in order to get the much needed Game 1 victory in Cleveland, despite it seeming like a far-fetched miracle!
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Toronto Raptors
- Will the Cleveland Cavaliers finally lose a game in any series? The answer to this question is most probably – yes. Despite backing Miami Heat first in the Conference semifinals, as soon as Hassan Whiteside and then Luol Deng got injured, the balance of power suddenly shifted towards the team north of the border and they obviously deserved to qualify. After letting go of that “monkey off their backs” and finally having qualified in the Eastern Conference Finals, we may expect almost anything out of this crazy Toronto roster.
- As usually, there are not too many things to be said about Game 1, because, as we have seen the previous night, almost anything is possible. We may either get to see a blowout orchestrated by Cleveland or a very close game even won by the Toronto Raptors. In any of these two cases, I have a certainty – Kyle Lowry will be up for the task. As it turns out, the Point Guard for the Raptors escaped his psychological jam and led his team towards victory in the Miami series, scoring 36, respectively 35 points in the last 2 games of the series. Another interesting factor ahead of this series is that the Canadian side has an overall advantage in the regular season over LeBron James & co. (2-1), with Kyle Lowry averaging 31 points in the 3 respective contests!
