Betting predictions – Getafe vs Real Madrid – Primera Division
Today, set to begin at 15:00, Real Madrid travels to Getafe with a single objective in their minds, that of getting all the necessary three points they need in order to keep their title chances alive.
Getafe is by far the worst team in Primera Division this season, from all the points of view. They are currently occupying the last position, still with proper chances to save themselves, but provided their recent form skid, I believe that Segunda Division is expecting them next year. The home side is going through a horrible series of results, not managing to win a single game in their previous 12, with only 4 goals scored and 28 conceded. When it comes down to the games played at Alfonso Perez, Juan Esnaider’s side manage to gather 23 points after 6 victories, 5 draws and 5 losses. As we would’ve expected, the home side has the worst offensive record there is in La Liga, with only 28 goals netted in 32 clashes and what is more, 56 goals conceded overall.
Real Madrid is in outstanding form, with 6 victories in a row in La Liga, games in which they scored 22 goals and conceded only 4. In the recent period, the team from Madrid obtained remarkable results, defeating Barcelona at Camp Nou (reintroducing themselves in the title fight, reducing the distance at only 4 points from the Catalans). However, the most notable success was the one at Santiago Bernabeu this midweek, when they pulled off a “Remontada” against Wolfsburg. In the first leg, Real lost 2-0 in Germany, but at the Bernabeu, Zidane’s boys showed devotion, making the deficit on aggregate null in the first part of the game, with Ronaldo scoring in the 16th and 17th minute, only so as to complete his hat-trick late in the game for an historic qualification into the Champions League semifinals. Real Madrid has the best offense in Primera Division, with no less than 83 goals scored.
Guaita – Pereira, Cala, Vergini, Suarez – Rodriguez, Lacen – Sarabia, Rodriguez, Leon – Vazquez
Navas – Marcelo, Ramos, Pepe, Carvajal – Modric, Kroos, Rodriguez – Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale
Real Madrid is not allowed to make any wrong steps in their title pursuit, especially against the team at the bottom of the table, team that travels a very poor form. Getafe lost all previous 6 head to head games, only managing to score 5 goals overall, while conceding 21, Cristiano Ronaldo being the scorer of 11 of those. Given the current state of both sides, a Real Madrid victory is almost certain, but goals also sound appealing.
